full carbon fiber board. lightweight and responsive. this board was left on a delivery truck wrapped up in foam/bubble wrap sitting in the direct sun for a couple of days. Because the board was wrapped and couldn't breathe it heated up and got so hot that it warped the top deck. The board is watertight and doesn't have any loose delamination (the shell is still intact with the core). warping is only on the top deck so the bottom still has its original shape. No impact to the glide on the water. 
A great deal for a lightweight board if you don't mind some cosmetic defects.
