The Hermosa is an all-around or hybrid shaped board that is great for flatwater paddling with a classic retro wood look. The nose is a planning hull designed to provide maximum paddle power and to glide or plane over top of the water as opposed to cutting through. The Hermosa now comes in one size which accomodates most riders and two deck pad options.
 
The Hermosa has an EPS foam core, 3 layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin. We have added kevlar reinforced rails and a carbon reinforced deck. The wood grain looks on this board have been updated from our prior versions and now have reall wood veneers!  It comes with 3 removable fins, plenty of bungee tie downs for your gear, a deep center hand grip for an easy grab and carry, maintenance free vent plug and a camera mount on the nose to catch the action.  Hermosa was named after Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica, which is a great surf spot just south of Jaco.
